Background Information of the blog

Topic:

This blog is focused on the collection of Chinese traditional well-know folklore or folktale and these stories already been translated into English. 

Target Audience:

The target audiences of this blog are English speaking children readers aged 0-12 year old. Therefore, these books are all children’s books, and most of them are picture books that suit young children to read. On the other hand, parents are these books potensial audiences, because parents choice book for their young children in most cases.

Purpose

I want to spread and promote traditional Chinese children’s literature to English children readers. Because China has 5000 years of brilliant and gorgeous culture that has cultivated plenty of wonderful  folklore, folktales and fables. These stories were widely circulated in society and most of them have significant meaningful educational messages or morals, which are very helpful to educate children of western countries through lively stories.
